Dear Rookie Advocate was born from lived experience. Like many young professionals, our founders experienced firsthand the disconnect between formal education and the realities of professional life. While legal training equips advocates with knowledge of the law, it often leaves unanswered the practical, emotional, and identity-based questions that arise once practice begins. DRA was created to fill that gap. What began as a platform for candid reflections and conversations has grown into a professional development space offering podcasts, written insights, masterclasses, and premium learning content each grounded in real stories, lessons learned, and honest dialogue. From its inception, DRA has remained committed to authenticity, mentorship, and community.
